Ready Made Historical Clothing

A lovely Regency
historical dress in a flowing semi-sheer linen/cotton print. Beautiful
pattern of pale floral green, white and yellow stripes. Gathered empire
waist bodice, flattering 3/4 length sleeves. Skirt fullness gathered to
back for a slimming straight skirt front. All seams visible when wearing
have been hand-sewn for authenticity and softness.
Great for English country dances, a historical reenactment, or a costume
event. Be Elizabeth Bennet for a day!
Bodice fully lined in white cotton. Fastens in back with two drawstrings
- at neckline and waist. This fastening method was extremely common in
the Regency period.
It is not necessary, but as with all historical garments, I recommend
wearing a corset and petticoat for the proper silhouette.

The perfect dress
for your young reenactress! She will be the belle of the ball in
this darling ensemble.
Material is 100% cotton print in a lovely sky blue and white/cream
floral pattern.
The bodice is a comfortable fan-front pattern. The neckline and
waist are finished with tiny piping. Buttons are vintage pearl, and
buttonholes are hand-sewn.
Skirt is very full, but is hand-gathered so as not to be bulky.
Three cute little half-inch tucks along the hem are both decorative
and fuctional. If your child needs extra length in the skirt after a
growth spurt, the stitching in the tucks can simply be snipped out,
and you will have an additional three inches.
The bodice is lined and the skirt hem is faced with white cotton
muslin.
Dress is appropriate and authentic for living history or reenacting
for the Civil War era.

Material is
100% cotton print in a lovely and authentic 'double pink'
color. I picked this material especially for historical
clothing, because it is almost identical to some original
cotton print fabric.
The bodice is a comfortable fan-front pattern. The neckline
and waist are finished with tiny piping. Buttons are vintage
pearl, and buttonholes are carefully hand-sewn.

A beautiful and
historical dress of the Regency time period. A wondefully versatile
dress - the long sleeves are detachable, so it works for all seasons!
They easily button into the short sleeve lining. Skirt is full gathered
into the back and has a slight train.
The bodice is a type called apron front, or drop front. The bodice front
lining is separte and pins with straight pins over the bust (pins are
included, see last picture) - front gathered panel buttons over this
onto matching hand-made covered buttons.
The material is a soft burgundy cotton check. Lined with white cotton
muslin.
All visible seams have been meticulously hand sewn for authenticity.
Dress has side-front closure with a drawstring at the waist and
hook-and-eyes.
I imagine this would be Elinor Dashwood's favorite house dress. Simple,
practical, and elegant!
As with all historical garments - I recommend wearing a regency corset
for the correct fit.

Straight
from the closet of Elizabeth Bennet...
Perfectly beautiful and unique for weddings, dances,
graduations, historical events, or any special occasion!
Elegant regency dress in a beautiful combination of fine
fabrics. The lightly gathered bodice is made up of creamy
duponi silk, trimmed with a ruched ruffle around the
neckline of sheer white cotton voile. (bodice fully lined
with white cotton muslin) The sleeves are gathered, puffed
sheer voile with the cream silk repeating on the bands. The
under layer of the skirt is silk, and the over layer sheer
cotton voile.
Back fastens with hook-and-eyes.
As with all historical garments, this dress is best worn
with a regency-era corset or set of stays. The model in the
pictures is wearing a pair of short stays which will give
the proper silhouette for the Regency period. Modern
undergarments will work just fine, though.
All visible seams have been hand-sewn for historical
authenticity and softness.
Approx. misses size 6
Bust: 32-33"
High Waistband (just under bust): 27-29"
Natural waist: free
Bodice length center front (including waistband): 6.5"
Skirt Length center front: 41"
Skirt back has 5" train
Note: I do have to mention one very slight fault with the
dress. The bodice was originally darted, and then I decided
to change it to gathers. So, there is some slight (almost
invisible - look at the pictures zoomed in) 'former sewing'
marks. Again - these are completely unnoticeable unless you
are inspecting the bodice very closely. If you would like to
request close-up pictures of this, please do so.
